Individual Counselling
Individual counselling is a place made just for you.
I support women and AFAB individuals who were raised to be “the responsible one” — the one who keeps things together, takes care of others, and often ends up giving more than they receive.
If you grew up learning to focus on others’ needs while putting your own aside, you might now feel exhausted, unseen, or unsure of your worth. In our work together, we’ll gently untangle those patterns, build boundaries that feel right to you, and help you step out of over-responsibility — so your relationships can feel more balanced, supportive, and mutual.
Some of the common things I help clients with include:
Feeling overwhelmed by everything they’re holding
Struggling to set boundaries without hours of guilt or second-guessing
Feeling responsible for other people’s emotions
Being the “capable one” but quietly exhausted
Finding it hard to ask for help or let others show up for you
Feeling unseen or under-supported in relationships
Navigating changes in identity, roles, or midlife transitions
Replaying conversations and wondering if you’ve done something wrong
Feeling really tired from always being the one who takes care of everything and everyone
Low self-worth
Relationship with emotionally immature parents/people
