You will receive a booking confirmation via email with the zoom link. Please download the Zoom app here. A distraction-free area with stable internet will be required for the session. Please ensure that your device is stationary as to prevent camera shake and consider connecting a few minutes early to test your mic and camera.

Located in Fairview, Vancouver. The office can be found between Fir and Pine Street, not far from the Granville Loop. Quite close to Downtown Vancouver, with the benefits of plenty of parking.

Transit: Bus stops are just a 2-minute walk away, with routes 9, 10, 14, 16, and the 99 B-Line available.

Parking: There is free 2 hour parking and metered parking available, as well as nearby parkades at VSB and Indigo. Bike racks are available in front of the building.

Bikes: Bike racks are available, so bring a good lock! You can also bring your bike inside if preferred.

Mobility: the building is not wheelchair accessible due to three steps at the front entrance and manual doors. The office is located on the third floor, accessible by elevator. If you use mobility aids or need assistance, please let me know before our first session, so we can discuss the best access options for you.

Sensory needs: we aim for a scent-reduced environment. Softer lighting is available throughout.

Seating: our waiting room has armless chairs to accommodate a variety of body shapes.

Washrooms: there is a hallway washroom with multiple stalls, but lacks handrails. The key for this washroom is available in the office entryway. Additionally, our office unit includes a gender-free washroom, which I’d be happy to show you.

Dogs: Please note some counsellors bring their pet dogs to work. The dogs at the office are well behaved and on leash. If you have a fear of dogs or a dog allergy please let me know and I’ll take measures to ensure your comfort.

For clients arriving after 6 PM, the lobby door will be locked. Please ring the buzzer once, and I’ll let you in as soon as I’m free. If you arrive early, I may still be in session, so please avoid ringing multiple times as this an be disruptive. The buzzer system uses a live camera and speaker but does not record or store any audio or video.

Safety first! If you’re late, try not to rush. We’ll make the most of the time we have remaining. Please note that the full session fee still applies.

Cancellations leave a hole in my schedule that would otherwise be filled. Therefore, I require 48-hours’ notice for all cancellations. As an alternative to cancelling, I'm happy to accomodate a last minute switch from an in-person session to online — just email me to make this change.
